Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Matthew Lee ("we", "us") about using Yesly. By downloading or using Yesly, you agree to them. They work alongside Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If the two ever disagree, these terms apply where the law allows.

Using Yesly

You need to be at least 13 to use Yesly. If you're under 18, please use it with a parent's or guardian's permission. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

Yesly isn't medical advice

Yesly offers affirmations, audio and reminders to support a positive daily habit. It isn't therapy, medical treatment or professional advice, and it doesn't diagnose or treat any condition. If you're struggling, please talk to a doctor or a mental health professional. If you're in crisis or might hurt yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line straight away.

Alarms

Yesly's alarms rely on iOS, your phone's settings (such as volume, Focus and Silent mode), the permissions you give and your phone having charge. We do our best to make them reliable, but we can't promise they'll always ring, so please don't rely on Yesly alone for anything critical, like a flight or a medical appointment.

Your content

The affirmations you write and the recordings you make are yours, and they stay on your device. You're responsible for what you create, so please don't use Yesly for anything unlawful or hurtful.

Our content

The app, its affirmations, narration, sounds, designs and name belong to us or the people who licensed them to us. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute them outside the app.

Changes and availability

We may update Yesly, add or remove features, or change these terms. If we make an important change to these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using Yesly after that, you accept the new terms.

Disclaimer and limits

Yesly is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we don't make promises about the app being uninterrupted or error-free, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province where we are based. Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live.
